For us, the Ka�u Classic Medium Roast is the quintessential coffee from the south side of the Big Island. In August 2020, this coffee scored 93 points in Coffee Review:

�Floral-toned, richly aromatic, chocolaty. Elegantly sweet structure with Meyer lemon-like acidity; full, viscous mouthfeel. Apricot, honey, lavender, baking chocolate, a hint of pipe tobacco in aroma and cup. The inviting finish leads with notes of baking chocolate and apricot, with pipe tobacco resurfacing in the long.�

Our Ka�u Classic Medium Roast features Typica, the most common coffee variety in Hawaii. Grown in the rich soil and cool climate of the Mauna Loa volcano�s southern slope, these beans are made with a washed process, then sun-dried.
