We use cacao grown from our own Ua Hānai Orchards, just outside Hilo town along the Hamakua Coast, where the volcanic soils paired with our special fermenting and aging processes (like with wine) produce a rich, fruit forward flavor palate.
The crunch in this bar comes from cacao nibs and Ka‘ū coffee. Ka‘ū coffee is grown in the southernmost point of the Big Island and has taken the coffee world by storm, overthrowing Kona coffee in many cupping competitions.
Together they make a delicious chocolate bar with enough caffeine worthy of being a replacement for your latte!
