Kava, or "awa", is a traditional Polynesian beverage made from the roots of the Piper Mythisticum to promote relaxation. Made from ground kava root, this extract is conveniently ready to use. A few drops under the tongue or in a glass of water delivers the effects of a traditional "shell" of brewed kava.
